Benarkan mereka kembalik ke sekolah agar masa depan merekan lebih terjamin: Fatimah FATIMAH ABDULLAH KUCHING: Pelajar yang mengandung luar nikah wajar diberi peluang untuk kembali ke sekolah selepas bersalin. Menteri di Pejabat Ketua Menteri Datin Fatimah Abdullah berkata, pelajaran akan memastikan kehidupan mereka pada masa depan lebih cerah. “Ini penting untuk saya jelaskan setelah meminta pendapat menteri bertanggungjawab (Menteri Pelajaran Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin), pelajar berkenaan perlu dibenarkan untuk kembali bersekolah. “Justeru, saya berharap pihak sekolah akan memberi peluang kepada anak-anak ini untuk bersekolah balik,” katanya ketika berucap merasmikan program keibubapaan anjuran Persatuan Ibu Bapa dan Guru Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Demak Laut, di sini, semalam. PTA holds parenting programme for teachers, parents

KUCHING: A parenting programme that brought teachers and parents together to discuss on the welfare of their children in school was held at the Penview Inn yesterday. The programme, organised by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of SMK Demak Baru Kuching, saw the presence of Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department Datin Hajah Fatimah Abdullah and Samariang state assemblywoman Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali. Speaking at the event , Fatimah touched on factors that caused social issues among students, and how schools and teachers could change the environment to make learning more enjoyable to benefit the students. “Besides giving attention to the development of their children’s education, parents should also pay close attention to the social development of their children,” she said, adding that in today’s environment, the lifestyle of children was always changing. “It is time to increase the funds for PTAs so that they could focus on developing the human capital,” said Fatima

Datin Fatimah Abdullah Minister in Chief Minister’s Department Datin Fatimah Abdullah said an education would ensure they have a better future. “Having asked Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s opinion on this, it is important for me to stress that the students be allowed to return to school,” she said.
